Hey folks – I have been very busy this weekend, and wasn’t able to get today’s comic finished in time! I’ll be posting the page as soon as I can, but for now, enjoy the recipe!

Rose lemonade with optional lemon-rose vodka

• 6 fresh lemons
• 1 ¼ c sugar
• ½ c dried rose petals
• 3 c boiling water
• 1 c ice

For lemonade:

1. Zest lemons with a vegetable peeler, then combine zest with sugar and rose petals. Let rest overnight to extract the oils.
2. Combine sugar mixture with 3 c boiling water.
3. Let infuse for 5 minutes, then strain the syrup over 1 c of ice.
4. Add the juice of the lemons and mix. Chill completely.

To make lemon-rose vodka:

1. Let vodka infuse over the zest of 2 lemons and ⅛ c dried rose petals for 1 week.
2. Strain and combine with lemonade over ice as desired.
